The British & Irish Lions will embark on an eight-match tour to South Africa in July culminating in the third and final Test in August
The British & Irish Lions Tour in South Africa begins on July 3, although there will be a pre-tour match against Japan at Murrayfield on June 26 before the team departs.

The tour has been shortened from 10 games to eight, with the Lions playing Super Rugby sides the Stormers, Sharks and Bulls before the Test series.

The first match in South Africa will be against the Stormers on July 3, with further warm-up matches against a South Africa Invitational side, the Sharks, South Africa A and the Bulls before the start of the three-Test series against the Springboks on July 24. The final Test is on August 7.
